Jobless Problem Isn’t Going Away

It is anticipated that the jobless rate will stay above 6 percent for the next 4 years, at least.  This is what surveyed economists are expecting.  Other views are:

  • The economy will continue to grow slowly.
  • Job gains will only barely keep up with the population growth
  • Tax increases and spending cuts will be the biggest threat to the U.S. ecnomony
